WELCOME TO NOTTINGHAM ATHLETICS . . . HOME OF THE NORTHSTARS

The mission of Nottingham High School Athletics is to provide a positive environment which promotes academic achievement, competitiveness, teamwork, and self-discipline. Our athletic program is based on sound educational and ethical principles. Building character and sportsmanship which become life-long traits is our number one goal.

Our athletic teams compete in the fourteen-member Colonial Valley Conference in the following sports: basketball, baseball, wrestling, cross country, field hockey, ice hockey, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, lacrosse, and spring track. Our football program competes in the 95-team West Jersey Football League super conference. Nottingham High School has a proud and long-standing tradition of athletic excellence. This type of tradition does not come without effort and dedication. Nottingham High School is dedicated not only to its student-athletes’ success on the playing court or field but to their success in the classroom and life. If winning does not take place in the classroom, it cannot happen on the playing field or court.

The goals and objectives of our coaches include helping athletes develop high morals and ethical values, developing a competitive winning attitude, promoting Northstar pride, developing athletes who demonstrate excellent sportsmanship, and encouraging commitment to personal and team goals.

Together our administrators, coaches, trainers, resource officers, game-day staff, team photographers, marching band, cheerleaders, dance team members, step dancers and fans collectively provide our student-athletes the support they need to be successful. This support, along with our student-athletes' total effort, will give them every possible chance to reach their fullest potential.

Nottingham Athletics has high standards in regard to sportsmanship and conduct. We expect our students and coaches to uphold these standards at all times. We ask our spectators to reinforce these standards when you interact with opposing teams, coaches and contest officials.

The athletic department is grateful to our parents, booster club members, and The Nottingham High School community who provide unrelenting support, energy and enthusiasm for our student-athletes and coaches.

Nottingham High School is the right place for every student-athlete as we strive to provide each of them an opportunity for personal, academic, and athletic development. The blue and gold of the Northstars look great on all!
